About JA'RIE GRAY

Ja’Rie Gray’s paintings have been exhibited in group shows throughout the cities of southern California, and her work was recently shown at CSULB University Museum.  Gray’s group exhibitions were held at USC Hillel Art Gallery in Los Angeles, Seven-Degrees in Laguna Beach, and Chemers Gallery in Tusin.

In addition, her work is in private and public collections, including Portraits of the Fallen Memorial Foundation, Long Beach Community College, the private collection of Robert and Carole Urie-Chickering of Urie Properties, Inc.

Gray is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. She received an award from the Peter & Masha Plotkin Memorial Foundation, Los Angeles, CA for excellence honors in art. From 2008 through 2012, Gray was awarded Academic Scholarship and President’s List honors from Laguna College of Art and Design, Laguna Beach, CA.

Ja’Rie Gray was born in Los Angeles, CA, in 1982.  She received a B.F.A. from Laguna College of Art and Design, CA.  Forthcoming is Gray’s M.F.A. from California State University Long Beach, CA, in year 2016.
